In our clinical study of Smooth Talk Anti-Fading Light Hair Conditioner, we tested 8 bundles of light-dyed human hair in blonde—4 treated with our conditioner and 4 left untreated as a control group in a course of consistent washing over the course of 2 weeks. We used a Chromameter to measure how well the colour held up over time, focusing on the red-green value (a*).

Here’s the good news: the treated hair showed only a -6.8% change in colour, while the untreated hair faded by -19.4%. That means our conditioner helped retain 65% more of the original colour.
